The permanence of Static.

A static code is an unyielding artifact. Once generated, its destination is fixed within the geometry of the code itself. It requires no maintenance, no subscription, and relies on no intermediary servers. It is the purest form of the technology, ideal for printed materials where the destination — a vCard, a WiFi credential, or an evergreen URL — will remain absolute.

The agility of Dynamic.

Dynamic codes introduce an abstraction layer. The code geometry remains fixed, but the destination it points to can be altered at will through our routing infrastructure. This allows for post-print corrections, campaign tracking, and geographical analytics. Designed for environments where strategy dictates flexibility.

Questions.

Can I downgrade from Pro to Free?

Yes. However, any dynamic codes created during your Pro tenure will cease routing — they become dormant artifacts until the subscription resumes.

Do static codes ever expire?

Never. The geometry of a static code directly encodes the data. As long as the physical representation exists and can be optically resolved, it works.

Is there a limit on API requests for the Pro plan?

Pro includes 10,000 generation requests per month. For volume beyond this, structural enterprise arrangements are necessary.
